- **Event Description**: Come join us for our 8th Annual 5K to help raise money for Pediatric Cancer Research and Awareness. We will have the option again this year to participate in the Color Run/Walk. If you choose this option, you will get colored with slime and receive a white t-shirt with your registration. Don't want to be colored? You can also choose to do the regular 5K, where you will receive a shirt with your registration also. In order to receive a t-shirt, you must register by August 15th. Shirts are not guaranteed after this date. Can't join us on race day this year but still want to support us? We have decided to open up the virtual race option this year! You can run anywhere, anytime, whenever is convenient for you!
We hope you will join us this year! Last year we had over 100 participants, we would love to have an even larger crowd this year. Share with your family, friends, neighbors, whoever! Just come out and have a good time with us! 
Have a group you are running/walking with this year? You can also create a team! There will be a prize for the largest team at the 5K!
All proceeds from this 5K will be donated to UK Children's Hospital to their Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department. We have been able to donate over $50,000 so far to UK Children's Hospital.
