A Day of Reflection with Father Jim Sullivan 
and the Closing Mass of the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025 presided by Bishop Michael C. Barber, S.J.

On Saturday, December 27, St. Joseph Catholic Church/Mission San José will host a special day of prayer, teaching, and pilgrimage as we conclude the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025.

FIRST:
Father Jim Sullivan will lead a morning of reflection on “Mary – Why and How We Venerate Her,” drawing from Scripture, Church teaching, and the mystical tradition.  Talk starts at 9:30 AM.

SECOND:
Throughout the day, all are invited to visit the Marian exhibition designed by Saint Carlo Acutis. Exhibit is open to all by 1:00 PM.

THIRD:
Receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Individual Confession is from 
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

And receive communion at the 5:30 PM Mass at the Mission Church to obtain the Jubilee Plenary Indulgence.

 FOURTH:
The day culminates with the Jubilee Closing Mass, celebrated by Bishop Michael C. Barber, S.J., in the historic Mission Church.  Mass starts at 5:30 PM

and FIFTH:
Free admission to the Mission Museum for those who registered.  Free admission, a $15 value, is good only on Saturday, December 27. The museum is open from 10AM - 4:30PM.
