Sheep Shearing Day

It's almost time for our sheep’s annual haircuts!

Join us at the farm for Sheep Shearing Day, an annual celebration of sheep, wool, and the ancient craft of shearing. Watch live shearing demonstrations and follow the journey of wool from sheep to sweater—try your hand at carding and felting, and see wool spun into yarn right before your eyes.

Along the way, enjoy tasting sheep cheeses on crackers baked in our wood-burning stove, listen to live music, and create a wool craft to take home.

It’s a lively, hands-on day for all ages—and a wonderful way to welcome spring at the farm. We hope you’ll join us!
