BACKGROUND and SEQUENCE OF EVENT: -This is a themed OP with a command structure to provide direction for participants. - This OP is open to the public and to players of all skill levels - I strive for an all-inclusive atmosphere. - This OP is divided into three (3) phases - with a brief pause in between each sequence, and a lunch-break midday. - There will be a briefing of objectives before EACH PHASE, to ensure all participants are directed at the same pace. - There are NO magazine restrictions. - This OP will be REALITY-BASED. Objectives are either PASS or FAIL. There is no point system. SCHEDULE & PLAYER CAPACITY: - THE OP STARTS WITH OR WITHOUT YOU - LATE participants will have to wait until a phase ends before entering the field. - If all available parking spaces are taken, the event will be considered SOLD-OUT and admissions will not be accepted. - The parking-lot opens promptly at 0900! - ARRIVE ON TIME!!! FACTIONS & UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS To be announced. START & RESPAWN POINTS: To be announced. Note: Respawn points may change between phases, depending on the success of each faction. Any change will be announced during the briefing between phases. MEDIC & BLEEDOUT RULES: - Both factions will have medics designated by WHITE armbands. - Eliminated players have the option to return to respawn - OR - be tended to by a Medic. - Eliminated players have 5-minutes to be tended to by a medic (5-minute BLEEDOUT). - Moving from your dead in-place position requires a full trip to respawn. -Only one player can be healed at a time. -Medics can only be healed by OTHER Medics. - Living players may move wounded players by direct physical contact. - If a wounded player is hit while being tended to by a medic - or in the process of being moved by a live player - both players are then considered hit - prop and equipment rules apply for this OP. - Medics cannot heal players within OBJECTIVE STRUCTURES, per RPC field rules. RESPAWN RULES: Respawn time: - Instant respawn, NO TIME LIMIT, upon entering the designated flag station. - Players must enter the full circle of the flag-station to be considered “respawned.” - Both factions will have the same dedicated Respawn Points throughout the entire operation. - Respawn points are still within the bounds of the live-fire area. Courtesy note: If participants exit the live-fire zones (i.e. visit the parking lot or proshop) and wish to reenter the scenario, they must visit their designated respawn area before reengaging in play. PROPS: - Props will be used throughout the Operation. - Props can only be handled by living participants. - Eliminated participants must surrender and drop props upon elimination. FLAGS: - Flags will be used to designate objective sites, target areas, and points of interests to ensure visibility. -Checkered racing flags will be used. - Flags cannot be removed! POWs: - Dummies will represent POWs. - POW dummies are considered the same as PROPS and equipment - and all prop and equipment rules apply. - The POW dummies can only be handled by living players. - The POW dummies can NOT be stored at Respawn Points or Out-Of-Bounds. OBJECTIVE ZONES: To be announced. ~ DETAILED BACKSTORY, SO FAR!: -In 2016 (Operation Scorched Tundra) a fringe group composed of radical activists and extremists establish Greendeath - an environmental terrorist organization. The underground expanded beyond college campuses and enlisted the help of ANTIFA, mercenaries, and anonymous financiers. U.N. Task Force Griffin was reassembled to intercept this growing threat. Despite heavy monitoring, the group successfully executed an attack along an oil pipeline in Northern Canada - in January 2016 - resulting in a devastating economic and environmental disaster. The resulting skirmish in the remote Yukon decimated Task Force Griffin - forcing the unit to abandon several elite members - used as futile bargaining chips. -In the summer of 2017 (Operation GREEENDEATH), McMurder Inc., a private military company - and subsidiary of Academi - was contracted to recover missing members of Task Force Griffin; and to capture or eliminate the group commander. Following extensive reconnaissance, intel revealed only the cybernetic expert remained in captivity. Despite the element of surprise and tactical superiority, the PMCs were defeated by the hodge-podge anarchists; the mercenaries failed to establish air-support. The sole remaining member of Task Force Griffin was converted to the radical cause - through manipulation and psychedelic torture. -In 2018 (Greendeath II), McMurder Incorporated launched an illegal operation to dismantle the Terrorist’s HQ and infrastructure and rescue the lone surviving POW of Task Force Griffin. The attempt failed, and Greendeath escaped. -In 2019 (Greendeath III), the terrorists attacked the Powell power station, located along the border region between Canada, New York, and Western Vermont. The station is owned by shareholders that have made considerable investments in the effort to dismantle Greendeath and murder membership - specifically McMurder Incorporated and Security Service. The facility was decimated without a trace of the environmental terrorists. -In 2020 (Greendeath IV) The terrorists met their first defeat at the hands of Security Forces. Including the loss of their charismatic leader and strategist - taken into custody during a foiled attack. - In 2021, (Greendeath V), Security Forces launched a daring raid to rescue civilian hostages in a botched prisoner exchange. The conflict resulted in a painful draw - eventually forcing the security forces CO to survive a valiant last stand against a larger force, and sending Brother Phil, the Greendeath commander, into a fit of revenge. - In 2022, (Greendeath VI), Greendeath’s terror factories were successfully raided, disrupting their network of illegal ordinance. - In 2023 (Greendeath (VII), Security Forces attempted, and failed, to dismantle the Greendeath narcotics network.
