This hands-on class will introduce simple quilting techniques while exploring creative ways to give old materials new life. Sewing supplies will be provided.This class is a part of our Creative Reuse series. Through Creative Reuse, we put materials that would have been thrown away to good use. Our goal is to save and use yarn and other craft supplies that would otherwise be thrown away and use them. Please bring any cotton fabric, yarn, notions, t-shirts, or plastic storage boxes you would like to donate to the class. Donating craft supplies or cash helps us offer this class series for free.LocationThe address is at the  (), not the LEAF Urban Farm!Parking:Use the eastern entrance (not Nursery Ave.) to the California Nursery Historic Park, LEAF Community Garden is on your right side.There is ample parking inside this entrance.Bike parking available at the garden.Public Transit:AC Transit Bus 216 stops right outside the LEAF Community Garden.
