We are located inside California Nursery Historical Park at this exact location. There are 2 free parking lots in the park. Restrooms and water fountains are on site.Volunteering will include mulching, weeding, tree trimming, planting, and more. Remember to wear close toed shoes and to bring a water bottle, hat and other necessities like sunscreen. Optional: Our volunteers often bring food and snacks to share with each other and have lunch at the orchard.More about CORE: Our goal is to expand the orchard to over 300 fruit trees, of local, historical varieties, and add a native plant hedgerow perimeter. CORE plants varieties of apples, plums, pears, and more that were developed in California and are no longer sold commercially. Planting older varieties suited to our climate preserves genetic diversity within fruit trees and the unique taste of the fruit!Join our volunteer days:Every Tuesday at 10 am - 3 pmEvery 4th Saturday of the month at 10 am - 3 pm
