About the event

Beginning Bird Watching: Instructions & Short Walk
Learn about birds, what to look for, why they are important to humans and the environment, and take a short walk.

About this Event

Interested in learning about the birds you see on your walks? Looking to identifying a few of those favorites? Join us at the Visitor Center at the Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Refuge, where Ceal Craig, who still considers herself an advanced beginner, shares how to identify birds, why they are important, and take a walk!

Recommended for high school and up, but all are welcome.

This program is brought to you by USFWS volunteer Ceal Craig and the (SFBayWS), the nonprofit Friends group supporting the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
