Designed for adventurers and ocean-curious sailors alike, this Discovery Talk explores what it takes to join one of the world’s greatest endurance challenges. With no prior sailing experience required to participate in the race, Ella will guide you through the selection process, training, global route, fleet, stopovers, and crew life - sharing firsthand stories from her own three-leg journey on Our Isles and Oceans.

About the presenter
Ella Nieper is a second-generation Clipper sailor, following in the footsteps of her uncle who circumnavigated in 1996. Formerly a business analyst seeking a bold new challenge, Ella completed three legs of the 2023–24 race before joining the Clipper Recruitment Team.
