To each and everyone of our festival attendees and participants;

On behalf of Nella Fitzgerald Events and the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour Traders Group we regretfully advise that unfortunately the Western Australian Dragon Boat Festival 2021 is being postponed to a later date this year.

The decision has been made due to the COVID-19 announcement in which lockdown is mandatory.

As the festival is programmed for this Sunday, and commencing at 10.00am, we believe it would not give us enough time to ensure notification to all participants and attendees in the case of the lockdown timeframe being extended.

As always, the festival participants' and attendees' well-being and safety are forefront and paramount in all our decisions.

We are thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed Yaolin Kung Fu Association led by 7th Generation Pak Mei Master Ken Wu from the Cheung Bing Lam lineage, will be performing at the Western Australian Dragon Boat Festival!

Sunday 7 February 2021 at Mews Park, Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.

Electrifying and highly skilled performances of the ancient traditions of the Dragon Dance and amazing drumming will create an excitement and energy in the colourful and festive atmosphere of FRINGE WORLD- the third largest Fringe Festival on the planet!
