We are excited to announce that the renowned Little Italy by the Sea returns to Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday 27 October 2024. It promises to be a spectacular, fun filled day for all the family!Join us as we celebrate all things Italian. New and innovative events as well as the perennial favourites including fashion, wine tasting, interactive presentations and a comprehensive entertainment program encompassing contemporary and traditional Italian music, dance and visual theatre.

Set against the magnificent backdrop of the harbour and Bathers Beach, a stellar cast of professional artists in glamorous costumes will ignite the stage and present a spectacular, dazzling array of performances. Fiery Tarantellas, stunning concerts and meet and greet characters will bring to life the rich Italian culture which is loved throughout the world! Experience the Italian way of life as you stroll along the boardwalks amidst the world renown venues of Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour, Bathers Beach and the Western Australian Shipwrecks Museum.

The festival grounds will be reminiscent of colourful and vibrant seaside towns throughout the riveting Adriatic and Mediterranean coastlines. Festival participants will journey to an ancient land of majestic and sparkling waters which hosts fishing boats, ancient folklore, and centuries old traditions.Italian regions will be strongly represented and featured in the festival, with specialty food, entertainment, and cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage of Italy.

A trendy and cosmopolitan licensed bar featuring Italian beverages will be situated within the festival grounds. We welcome you to experience our warm hospitality as we invite you to sip on your favourite Italian wines and beers as you take in the stunning harbour views.
