Drawing on her upbringing in Mukinbudin and travels throughout regional Western Australia, her work explores changing light, native flora, trees, mist and those fleeting moments when familiar landscapes are transformed by weather or season.Sarah Eve works in Abstract Realism, using expressive colour, layered acrylic paint, texture and dynamic brushwork to explore geology, water and deep time. Her paintings are inspired by landscapes across the Pilbara, Kimberley and Margaret River regions, translating the energy and scale of ancient rock formations, gorges, waterways and coastlines through heightened colour and movement.Together, the artists create a visual conversation between the fleeting and the enduring, atmosphere and structure, intimacy and scale.Located in North Fremantle, Palette combines gallery and café in a relaxed coastal setting close to Leighton Beach.
