David Rastrick will play you a mix of swing, Bossa Nova, jazz ballads, soul-jazz and blues classics and original compositions, interspersed with anecdotes relating to the songs.

David Rastrick has over 30 years performance experience throughout WA and Australia, performing in literally hundreds of bands. David's jazz combo "Jazztrix" has had the honour of opening for acts such as James Morrison, Diana Krall, Paul Kelly, Carole King, James Taylor and many more acts.

David is based in Menang Country in Kronkup-Torbay, halfway between Kwoorabup-Denmark, and Kinjarling-Albany WA, and performs frequently throughout southwest WA. This is a rare trip to the Fremantle metropolis.

David's original songs are inspired by the environment of SW WA and his experiences as a musician and human being. "Swingin' from the Trees" talks of Old-Growth forests activism; "Carnival of Lunacy" of David's time as musical director Lunar Circus. There are songs of love, magic mushrooms, non-violent direct action and communication and more...
