# Event Details - **Event Name**: The Taste of Thailand - **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 07 May, 2026 at 06:00 pm – Thu, 07 May, 2026 at 09:00 pm (+02:00) - **Event Description**: Dear CAW Alumni, dear friends and guests of the CAW, The trip to Thailand was the most extensive in the history of the CAW to date. The participants had a wonderful time and brought back many delicacies to Freising. We would like to look back on our trip together with you. You can look forward to a multimedia review of the trip, as well as specialist talks on Thai beer culture and an introduction to Thai wine and spirits. The talks will be accompanied by relevant tasting samples and suitable snacks. We are particularly delighted that representatives from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Munich took part; they had supported our excursion by providing helpful tips on places to visit. Participation is free of charge. There are only a limited number of places available for this event. Die Teilnehmer haben viel erlebt und viele Köstlichkeiten mit nach Freising gebracht. Gemeinsam mit euch wollen wir unsere Exkursion Revue passieren lassen. Euch erwarten ein multimedialer Rückblick auf die Exkursion sowie Fachvorträge über die Thailändische Bierkultur und eine Einführung in Thailändischen Wein und Branntwein. Begleitet werden die Vorträge von entsprechendem Verkostungsmaterial sowie passenden Snacks. Besonders freuen wir uns über die Teilnahme von Vertretern des Königlich-Thailändischen Generalkonsulats München, die unsere Exkursion mit hilfreichen Hinweisen zu Ausflugszielen unterstützt hatten.
