English conversation over dinner in Freiburg

For many years, we have been meeting every fortnight for a conversation over lunch. No given topic, no conversation rules.
We - native speakers and interested Germans - simply meet to eat and chat.
Newcomers are welcome.

The next meeting will be in Kashmir Restaurant, Elsässer Strasse 71, 79110 Freiburg im Breisgau, on Tuesday, 9th December 2025 at 6.30 p.m. The restaurant can be reached by tram and bus as follows: take a 4 tram towards the Messe and get off at the Elsässer Strasse tram stop. You can walk westwards along Elsässer Strasse about 800 metres or catch a 10 bus towards Paduaallee from the bus stop on Berliner Allee and get off at the Almendweg bus stop. The restaurant is on the right hand side. For those with cars, free parking is available at the restaurant.

Because the next date falls in the middle of the holidays, there will be no English conversation on Tuesday, 23rd December 2025, but there will be an English conversation on Tuesday, 6th January 2026.
