YellowHouse Blues Band

The YellowHouse Blues Band is thrilled to be back at Cadenza Freeport on Saturday, May 17th, 2025!

A 9-piece, high-energy blues & blues rock band with horns and multiple vocalists, the YellowHouse Blues Band is known for putting their own take on popular songs and making them their own. A band from the Seacoast of NH and ME, they perform at high-end venues all over New England and have sold out Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club (4x), The Press Room (3x), and The Music Room Cape Cod (2x), to name a few. Their song list encompasses material from Blues legends like Howlin’ Wolf, the Allman Brothers, and The Rolling Stones, to Motown stars like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, and modern-day artists such as Eric Gales, Tedeschi Trucks Band, and Larkin Poe. We also play popular songs with our own twist, like “Pretzel Logic” by Steely Dan.

As a band, one thing that sets up apart from others is that we’re known for raising money for non-profits that focus on at-risk youth or music education. To date we’ve raised over $160,000 for non-profits in our community and our goal is to bring that number to $250,000.
