R.I.S.E. Family Connection is a place for families to **eat together, connect, learn, laugh, and enjoy time together.** 💛

Families sit down and enjoy a **family style meal together**, which may be breakfast, dinner, or something in between depending on the event. Meals are most often provided by **local restaurants and caterers**, with some gatherings featuring meals prepared by Hope WINS staff or our amazing volunteers. Fun table activities and conversation starters give families a chance to break the ice, connect, and get to know one another.

Following the meal, parents and caregivers participate in a **speaker led presentation or interactive session** focused on topics that matter in everyday family life. Topics may include parenting, coping with stress, communication, relationships, life skills, self care, navigating challenging seasons, strengthening families, and connecting with helpful resources and supports.

Each gathering is a little different. You might listen and learn, join the conversation, participate in an activity, ask questions, discover a new resource, or walk away with something useful to try at home.

While parents are learning, kids rotate through **three floors of activities**:

💛 A mirrored activity connected to what parents are learning
🎨 A hands on activity or craft based on the gathering’s theme
🎉 A free play level where kids can play, relax, and connect

Parents and kids explore the same ideas in different ways, creating opportunities to continue those conversations and connections at home.
