Rat Rod Wheel Barrow Build Off!
We are looking for 6 teams of up to 3 people to build and race Rat Rod Wheel Barrows
We will supply the following
Wheel Barrow
Steel for a chassis
Wheels and Tires
Axles
Each team will be provided with the same tools to complete the build
Welder (could be stick or wire fed)
Angle Grinder
Basic Set of Hand Tools
We will provide 100 bucks to each team that they have to spend in Vendor Row to make their build unique.
We will polish up the rules as we get more details, but this is what we are thinking.
Each team gets a booth to build the Wheel Barrow. There will be 6 booths side by side so we can all watch the progress.
Each team will have on hour to provide a drawing of the build. They must use the provided paper, and must be done with crayons. Bonus prize to the team the gets the machine to look closest to the drawing!
Each team then will have 1 hour to spend the 100 bucks provided by Rats Nest in the Vendor Area on the Main Field. The Legend Vendors. They can use this for anything that is for sale on the main field to make their machine unique!
Each team will then have 6 hours to build the machine!
At the end of the build session, we will have some sort of test to make sure the machine rolls and moves!
Then we will have a live auction to sell the machines, and give the money to a local Charity!!!!
