HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope that you'll join us as we kick off our 2026 live music events with a first GHW&B appearance by THE GLADSTONES! You read that right, we are super honored to have this well loved Charlottesville based band performing live inside our tropical oasis, the glass conservatory! Friday, January 2nd, from 6 to 8:30pm. No cover. Open to all.
If you aren't already familiar with The Gladstones, here's their self written bio:
Long ago in a distant galaxy, Bob Girard toured the East Coast in the estimable Charlottesville band, The Casuals featuring Johnny Sportcoat. The band dissolved, Bob got a job, had kids, the whole nine yards. A few years back, Bob got run over by a bus in Rome, started playing guitar as therapy for his shattered arm, and began to write songs again at an incredible rate. The Gladstones were born.
Bob enlisted his long-time friend Charlie Pastorfield to play guitar in his new band. Charlie had spent most of his adult life playing in The Skip Castro Band and The Believers, then he also got a job and had kids. Their kickin’ rhythm section consists of Jim Ralston on drums, Tim Ryan on bass. Occasionally Skip Haga will join the band on keys.

Food trucks will not be scheduled during the coldest months of winter. As always, we welcome you to bring your picnics, pick up take-out on your way, or put together a DYI Charcuterie plate with the assorted items that we carry in the Tasting Room - cheese, crackers, meats, tapenades, etc.
Our live music events typically take place within the beautiful space of the glass conservatory, our indoor tropical oasis. On occasion, the music may perform outdoors, under the eaves of the back deck. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available first come, no reservations.
Picnics are welcome throughout the property, barring any outside alcohol. We have plentiful seating areas indoors and outdoors, across all areas of the winery/brewery property. Feel free to bring your blankets/chairs. Pop up tents and personal grills are permitted for use in the overflow grassy tailgate and picnic areas.
Glass House Winery wines (by glass or bottle) and Glass House Brewery beers (by pint glass) will be available at both the Tasting Room Bar and the Glass Theater Brewpub (during their respective operating hours detailed below).
Children are welcome, please supervise them at all times. Consider bringing along games or other items to entertain them while seated.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome but must remain on their leash at all times.
