With a warm and clear voice, Mette Juul interprets both her own jazzy songs as well as songs written by songwriters like Legrand, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Cole Porter with nerve and personality.

Mette Juul released her fourth album “Change” on Universal Music autumn 2019. The album received great international attention and multiple good reviews.
In 2015 Juul released the evocative ”There is a Song". The album features American trumpet player Ambrose Akinmusire and a strong lineup of international jazz musicians.
In 2007, Mette won the International Jazz Artist Competition in Tallinn, in which 12 singers from 9 countries participated. Mette has performed at several international jazz festivals and clubs, and is already a well-known face on the international music scene.
In 2010, Mette Juul released the evocative debut album “Coming in from the Dark”, with the rhythm master Alex Riel drumming, Jesper Lundgaard on bass, Heine Hansen at the piano, and Palle Mikkelborg playing trumpet. The album and subsequent concerts are still receiving numerous excellent reviews.
