A Cacao ceremony to open the heart and then eight hours of Gong washing over you, cleansing, clearing, carrying you somewhere deep. We will begin the evening with a nourishing cup of sacred ceremonial Cacao, setting an intention as we arrive and letting the medicine do its gentle work. Then we set up our sleeping nests and surrender — diving into the vast universal ocean of the all-night Gong Puja, where you will be bathed in harmonious sound waves until morning. The vibrations washing over you, cleansing, clearing, releasing the tension and stress of everyday life, while guiding you into deep states of relaxation and rest. At around 6:00 am the Gongs go silent. Thirty minutes of pure stillness and then we rise gently together — first with Purnamadah Purnamidam, returning to the wholeness within, and then Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu, offering the healing of the night outward to all beings everywhere. It often brings a sense of sweet kindness and compassion. The sacred cacao we use is ceremonial grade. I prepare it as a mild and nourishing drink with oat milk and coconut sugar, so it feels gentle and welcoming for everyone. It’s traditionally said that the spirit of Cacao will take you to the gates of the heart, but that you will have to decide to walk through them. Gong Puja The Gong doesn’t ask anything of you. You simply lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound do what it knows how to do. It moves through the body like a wave — cleansing, softening, releasing what is ready to go. It quiets the mind in a way that feels almost effortless, opening a space of deep rest and expanded awareness that is truly hard to describe until you have experienced it.
