Open Farm Day - May 3rd

OPEN FARM DAY - 577 Hillcrest Drive, Fredericton, NB
Saturday, May 3rd – 11:00am to 2:00pm – RAIN OR SHINE

Everything is PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN so everyone can participate in our local food system! Cash or e-transfer gratefully accepted.

COMPOSTING 101 WORKSHOPS:
11:00AM in English
12:00PM in French
Learn all the basics and a variety of methods for successful backyard composting.

PLUS our special “SPRING WORK PARTY” full of fun, food and community!

11:00AM to 2:00PM:
Help us feed the community and promote food sovereignty by participating in a wide variety of family-friendly growing, bed prepping & clean-up tasks to suit all ages & abilities.

As our BIG thank you for your efforts, we’ll fill your belly with a vegan bean soup and ‘skijinabon’, a traditional skillet bread – please bring your own mugs & spoons if you can. We’ll also have a bag of farm-grown dry beans for you to take home.
