In Ukraine, Kolodiy (Masnytsya) - also known as Cheese Week - has traditionally been a time of family gatherings, hospitality, laughter, and shared joy. During this week, people prepared cheese-filled dumplings, pancakes (crepes), shared food with one another, sang songs, danced in circles, and took part in folk games.
A special place in these celebrations belongs to the Kolodiy Festival - an ancient ritual symbolizing continuity of life, community unity, and vital energy. Kolodiya represents folk wisdom, humor, and the strong bond between generations. It has always been a celebration of connection, kindness, and togetherness.

Our celebration wouldn’t be complete without varenyky (pierogi) with cottage cheese and pancakes (crepes) with a variety of sweet and savory fillings, available for purchase for a symbolic fee.
Payment option accepted: cash or e-transfer.
