Beer Poking, or bierstacheln in German, is a 400-year-old tradition that began with blacksmiths using hot pokers to warm up their beer enough to drink comfortably in the cold winter months in Bavaria. We'll be using hot pokers to dip in a selection of our darker, sweeter beers. This will not only warm them up but also completely change the flavour profile with caramelization.

It's free to attend, to participate just purchase your beer at the bar inside and bring it out to the fire where our staff will be to do the beer poking.
