Let's celebrate the end of term & have a little fun!  The Faculty and the CSA are co-hosting a casual gathering on Dec. 8th at 6:00 pm at the Alumni Memorial Building (in the Alumni Lounge & President's Tartan Room). Join us for an evening of holiday fun! 

We will have light snack foods (chips, cheese & crackers, cookies, candy, etc.)  We'll also have a hot drink station (with a kettle and hot chocolate & tea) and some cans of pop & sparkling water.  NOTE: To make this event more environmentally friendly, we'd love it if you could bring your own mug (travel mug or regular mug).

Snack share: If you'd like to bring any holiday treats to share with the group, that would be awesome! (However, that is not required.)

This is not a formal event; it will be very relaxed. We encourage you to wear an ugly/festive holiday sweater or other fun holiday attire if you wish. Prizes will be given out to the "most festively dressed" attendees, so be creative! (Suggestions: There's lots of great stuff at thrift shops, and you can find some fun accessories at dollar stores too.)

At the party, we'll have some fun activities (games and/or karaoke) for those who want to take part, or folks can just hang out & chat if you prefer that.  

We'll also host our CS House Cup Gingerbread House Building / Decorating Contest at this party. Here are the details...

Each CS House will work as a team to build a gingerbread creation. We'll provide each of the 7 teams with a gingerbread house kit (which includes gingerbread, icing & candies); you just need to bring your creativity! If teams wish to bring any extra supplies (e.g. extra candy, icing, etc.), please feel free to do so.

Natalie will be taking pictures of each of the gingerbread creations and posting them online.  People who are not in our CS Houses will then be invited to vote for their favourites.  CS House Cup points will be awarded to the top picks.
