Gus 5K

Lace up your sneakers and start training for the best race of the year! The first-ever Gus 5K is set for Saturday, November 15th! 🏃‍♂️ 🟣 🟢

Whether you're sprinting like you're stealing home or jogging to enjoy the sights, this race is a celebration of community, baseball and giving back.

The first base starting line is just outside the stadium. Wind through the scenic streets of Fredericksburg, passing stations decked out in red, white and blue—just like Gus’s favorite gear.
Cross the "Home Plate Finish Line" on the field at Virginia Credit Union Stadium, with cheering fans in the stands and music pumping through the speakers!

Make sure to bring the whole family, as not only is there a 5k, but there's a one mile race for kids 12 & under and a one mile race for those 13 and up.

Plus, there will be plenty of photo opportunities with Gus, baseball themed surprises along the course and a post-race celebration, with a Gus-themed medal ceremony.

Whether you're a longtime fan of the FredNats, a running enthusiast, or just here for the fun, this event is a home run for everyone. Lace up, step out and dash for a cause with Gus leading the way!

Proceeds from the Gus 5K benefit the Fredericksburg Nationals Foundation, supporting local youth programs, education initiatives and community outreach. Every step you take helps us make a positive impact in the Fredericksburg area.
