Millions have died upon its ash-choked soil. Billions more have been forged in the furnaces of war. Now, the planet burns once again. Across the equatorial wastelands, vast Ork hordes surge from hidden strongholds and newly landed scrap-fleets. Entire regiments of the Armageddon Steel Legion have vanished beneath green tides that stretch from horizon to horizon. Vox relays fall silent one after another as defensive lines collapse under relentless assault. The Imperium’s grip on the planet weakens with each passing day. Yet the Orks are not the only threat. Strange signals have been detected beneath the ruins of abandoned manufactorums. Ancient vaults buried deep below the ash wastes have begun to awaken. Cult uprisings spread through the underhives. Reports of xenos raiders, daemonic incursions, and impossible machines emerge from every corner of the war-torn world. No one knows the true cause. No one knows what sleeps beneath Armageddon. As desperate pleas for reinforcement echo across the stars, armies from every corner of the galaxy descend upon the embattled world. Some come seeking glory. Some come seeking conquest. Others arrive pursuing secrets buried for millennia beneath the planet’s scarred surface. The fate of Armageddon hangs in the balance. Will the defenders hold the line and reclaim what has been lost? Will the green tide finally drown one of the Imperium’s most storied worlds? Or will an even darker power emerge from the depths to claim victory over all? The war begins now. This is a slow grow of sorts for the launch of 11th edition. Games can be played at any point level. The following game systems will count towards scoring for your faction: 40K matched play Combat patrol K*ll team Simple play a game in store and record the winner in our Discord under the narrative channel. Every two weeks the story will progress based on the scorings for the time period. “Official” narrative days will be Fridays, but games can be played throughout the week, schedule games in the Discord. The narrative will conclude Friday, August 28th. Scoring Each win for your faction will count forwards the overall narrative. A maximum of 3 points per week will count towards scoring. +1 game win +1 for teaching a game of the approved system. This does not count towards the max 3 points. Once your game is completed, please post in the channel (ex. +1 Space Marines) and it will be recorded.
