About the event

Blessing of the Backpacks

During our worship service on Sunday, August 10th, we will have a "Blessing of the Backpacks." We invite all students of any age, from preschool to college, to bring their backpacks to church that morning. We also invite teachers, administration, and staff to bring their bags and briefcases as well.

A prayer will be said over the students and their backpacks as well the faculty and their school bags as they step into the beginnings of the new school year. Go Bombers!
