Chalk Art: 
Starting as early as 8am, 20+ local artists of all ages transform the streets into incredible works of art. It’s a sight you don’t want to miss! See the map below for artist locations.

Plein Air Art:
Not familiar with plein air? Artists capture real life as it happens, painting live scenes right before your eyes. See them throughout downtown starting at 10am.

Community Mural:
Leave your mark on ARTOPIA with our Community Mural as you enter the Carroll Creek Parking Garage from Patrick Street. Frederick’s own Matt Long will be onsite helping bring the mural to life from 12-5pm.

Downtown Art Tour: 
Take in the art of Downtown Frederick from the best seat in town! Hop aborad the Maryland Double Decker Bus for a mini-tour of the public art, murals and creative landmarks that make Downtown unique. Purchase tickets here, https://tinyurl.com/5xyvuanr

Professional Artist Competition:
Experience creativity in action as three artists go head-to-head in a live competition. Artists will create original works inspired by a surprise audience-selected theme. Watch the artistic process unfold in real time as the artists race against the clock.
