Our day begins with an opening performance followed by music workshops, lunch at the Cougar Cafe in the Student Center, an exciting masterclass, tour of the Visual and Performing Arts Center, and more.Open to middle and high school students with two or more years of experience on their instrument, workshops focus on playing by ear along with improvisation in small groups (combo). All instruments are welcome and prior jazz and/or improvisation experience is not necessary.
