The Friends of Bogue Chitto State Park invite you to our 3rd Annual Barnyard Bash & Crawfish Boil, a day full of fun, fellowship, and support for the park we all love. Come spend the day with us and be a part of bringing Bogue Chitto State Park to the very best it can be!
Event Highlights:
🐎 9:00 a.m. – Guided Trail Ride
Saddle up and join us for a scenic ride through the park as we showcase the exciting progress on the new property and developing horse trails.
🦞 11:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. – Crawfish Boil
Enjoy hot, fresh, ready-to-peel crawfish available for purchase — a true Louisiana favorite served up Barnyard Bash style!
🛍️ 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Local Vendors
Browse a wonderful variety of local vendors offering everything from handmade door wreaths to sweets and treats and other unique finds.
🐂 Mechanical Bull Riding
Think you have what it takes? Test your riding skills on the mechanical bull and see how long you can hang on!
🐕 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Safety Seminars
Learn practical tips for keeping your horses and pets safe during emergency situations. Additional details and times to follow.
🎟️ Silent Auction, Raffles & Giveaways
Try your luck and bid on great items while supporting the park.
🎵 Music, Music, and More Music
Enjoy lively entertainment throughout the day — come dance, visit with friends, and celebrate the spirit of the park.
All proceeds from the Barnyard Bash help support improvements at the park. This year, we are working toward raising enough funds to purchase much-needed park equipment and to build a round pen for the equine area.
We hope you will join us for a day of good food, great music, and community spirit — all for a wonderful cause.
