We typically walk about 2 hours depending on weather and bird activity. 1-2 miles distance over boardwalks, mulched trail and occasional dirt/grassy areas. As migration picks up, sometimes we stay longer  - but you can leave when you need to, there is no commitment! The nature center has bathrooms but does not open until 8:30.

NOTE: there is no charge for the walk but Wehr Nature Center has a $5 parking fee. Friends of Wehr park free.
