Based on the popular children's book, The Polar Express is the story of the titular magical train, which delivers children to the North Pole on Christmas Eve.

Why we're showing it: A new modern classic, The Polar Express was a passion project for star Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis, who had worked together previously on Forrest Gump and Cast Away. Zemeckis used cutting edge digital technology to bring the iconic look of the children's book to the big screen.
