“SUSSEX’S GOT TALENT” — THE FIRST YOUTH TALENT COMPETITION IN NORTH NJ TO FEATURE CELEBRITY JUDGES
History is about to be made in Sussex County.
Rising Stars Youth Theatre Co. proudly announces the launch of Sussex’s Got Talent, the first youth talent competition in Sussex County — and all of Northern New Jersey — to feature an official judging panel of Broadway performers and social-media influencers.
Open exclusively to Sussex County residents in grades 2–12, or to those attending a school in Sussex County (ie: Pope John, etc.) - and to ALL Rising Stars YTC Performers!
This brand-new annual event invites young performers of every kind to seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Whether they sing, dance, act, perform magic, or bring something totally unexpected, this is the moment no child should miss.
Round One opens now, with a video audition deadline of January 5.
Finalists will take the stage on January 25, 2026, at the Franklin School Auditorium, performing under the lights for an audience of families, friends, community members — and celebrity judges. (Snow date: February 8.)

*December 20 — Judge 2 Reveal
** New Year’s Eve — Head Judge Reveal
Never before has a youth competition in Sussex County, or anywhere in North Jersey, brought Broadway powerhouses and major TikTok/Instagram influencers together to mentor and judge local kids.
This groundbreaking event promises to ignite creativity, boost confidence, and celebrate the rising talent within our community.
“This isn’t just a talent show — it’s a milestone,” says Rising Stars YTC. “This is a chance for our young performers to show the world what they can do, to step into the spotlight, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.”
