Basket Weaving Workshop with Corey Slater

Wild Willow Farm is thrilled to welcome Corey Slater of Slater Basketry back to the farm for another immersive Basket Weaving Workshop.
Join us for a hands-on, skill-building experience where you’ll learn traditional basket weaving techniques and craft your very own functional pack basket under Corey’s expert guidance.
Whether you are brand new to basket weaving or have prior experience, this class offers a supportive and creative environment to learn time-honored methods using natural materials. As you weave, you’ll connect with others who share a love for handmade crafts, sustainability, and mindful creation.
This workshop is perfect for those drawn to traditional skills, earth-based practices, and the quiet magic that unfolds when we create together.
Participants will leave with a finished basket, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for this beautiful and ancient art form.
