We know that most of you are planning on laying it all out at Highland's Winter Wooly on Saturday Feb. 14th, but why not make a weekend of it and swing on over to Freezetivus for the 'Less Send, More Bacon' version of the Woolly? Yep, the Freezetivus fat bike event is returning to Franklin Falls for the fifth year on Sunday Feb. 15th, 2026 from 10AM - 3PM and as always, 100% of profits from the event go right back into building, maintaining, and grooming the trail systems in Central NH. So get your tickets now because we are capping the event at 250 tickets.
The Franklin Falls trail system sports some of the best groomed singletrack fat biking trails in New Hampshire with many miles of flowy goodness. The Central NH NEMBA crew will be leading group rides for all abilities and will be hosting a vendor village, food, and fun for all. Of course, the infamous bacon station will be back, tucked away deep in the forest so we don't spook our partially tamed yeti.
So, bring your fat bike, bring your friends, dress warm, and fall in for a Freezetivus frolic. Our grooming team will keep you posted on conditions as we get closer to the event date, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates (here). Note: this is a fatbike only event, no tires under 3.8" wide, but if conditions allow, we'll open it up to skinny tires and will send out an update just before the event.
Freezetivus is the perfect event to get started with fat biking with lots of beginner friendly terrain as well as miles and miles of groomed singletrack for the seasoned pro. We'll have group rides running all day and marked routes with short and long options or explore on your own.. We'll make sure to post these routes a few weeks before the event.
