This year’s Open House is especially meaningful.

Behind the scenes, two remarkable members of our community quietly stepped forward to help make something extraordinary possible. Without seeking recognition or applause, they chose to invest in the future of the fiber arts and the next generation of makers. Their generosity has allowed Eagles Aerie to establish our Youth Fiber Arts Scholarship Program.

During the Open House, families with children who have an interest in the fiber arts are invited to pick up a scholarship application to take home, complete, and return. These scholarships are designed to help young people discover traditional fiber arts through classes, creativity, and hands-on experiences that they may never have had the opportunity to explore.

Sometimes the greatest gifts are given quietly, and this scholarship program is a beautiful reminder that kindness has the power to inspire generations.
