The Council on Greenways & Trails (CGT) and Penn Soil RC&D are excited to announce the upcoming 2026 Nature Art Showcase & Sale, inviting artists and artisans of all ages, including students, to showcase their talents. Showcase what inspired you from your adventures this summer at the February 2026 event, held at the Barrow Civic Theatre.
Artists and artisans of all ages are encouraged to participate. Each artist may submit one or two pieces, with the option to list them for sale or display only. This year, there will be a special optional category, "On the Wing," to celebrate artwork inspired by all of our natural creatures with wings.
We welcome original creations or interpretations in both 2D and 3D visual arts, including painting, drawing, sculpture, fabric arts, and photography. Additionally, artists engaged in creating unique items such as jewelry, wearable art, pottery, metal fabrication, and woodworking are encouraged to participate. Artwork must represent the natural or outdoor recreational assets of Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Forest, or Warren Counties in Pennsylvania. The public will vote for People’s Choice awards as well as be able to get to know the artists.
