Poetry Reading with Peggy Thompson

Please join us for a poetry reading by Peggy Thompson on Tuesday, August 12 at 6 pm:

Peggy Thompson is a lifelong native of Freanklin County having grown up on the river at Big Eddy. She's written poetry since around the third grade. She graduated Midway College and attended Transy and UK. Ms. Thompson finds her subjects in the everyday and seem to be surrounded by snips of paper with scribbles of a line or two or an idea.

Ms. Thompson has poems published by Lexington Press and two chapbooks, self published. She lives with a Miniature Dachshund and a Bengal cat.

This is a free event, open to all ages. Seating is first come, first serve.
