The Barn will follow its uproarious world premiere farce with a dramatic change of pace: WAIT UNTIL DARK, a thriller, based on the classic film. WAIT UNTIL DARK will begin on Wednesday, June 24th, and conclude on Sunday, July 5th. The show will run from Wednesday to Sunday for two weeks. All performances begin at 7:30 PM, except for Sunday matinees, which begin at 2:00 PM. There will be no show on July 4th in observance of the holiday. 

THE STORY: In 1944, Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled by a pair of men in her own apartment. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller's chilling conclusion. This new adaptation modernizes the brilliant tension of Knott’s original play and builds on the 1967 film starring Audrey Hepburn.

Come out early every evening for FREE music on the Heather's Flowers Music Stage, beer and wine sales from The Cellar, and to enjoy the grounds of the beautiful Red Barn Summer Theatre. Preshow festivities begin at 6:15, so make an evening of it!
