We're so excited to be partnering with The Garden Theater to showcase a beloved film to from a beloved actress (the late, grate Diane Keaton): The First Wives Club (1996, PG)!
The showing is FREE to all guests, and if you dress up in your "best Diane Keaton oufit" you get a free Kilwins treat! (Limited to first-come, first-serve basis.)
We couldn't BELIEVE the turnout to our free showing of Practical Magic back in October 2023 when we first started this thing; we had around 125 of you show up, and probably 90% of you were dressed up as a witch!
So we decided we'd like to make this a MONTHLY event, and we're calling it "Monthly Movie Club," where we will feature great nostalgic flicks!

The First Wives Club is a 1996 American comedy film, directed by Hugh Wilson, and based on the 1992 novel of the same name by Olivia Goldsmith. The film stars Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, and Diane Keaton as three divorcées who seek retribution on their ex-husbands for having left them for younger women. The supporting cast comprises Stockard Channing; Dan Hedaya, Victor Garber, Stephen Collinss; Sarah Jessica Parker, Elizabeth Berkley Marcia Gay Harden, Maggie Smith, Bronson Pinchot, Rob Reiner, Eileen Heckart, Philip Bosco, and Timothy Olyphant in his feature film debut; cameo appearances include Gloria Steinem, Ed Koch, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Ivana Trump.
The film became a surprise box-office success following its North American release, eventually grossing $181 million worldwide, mostly from its domestic run, despite receiving mixed reviews.
It developed a cult following, particularly among middle-aged women, and as the actresses' highest-grossing project of the decade, it helped revitalize their careers in film and television.
Composer Marc Shaiman was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Music Score,while Hawn was awarded a Blockbuster Entertainment Award and both Midler and Parker received Satellite Award nominations for their portrayals.
