1. Who can participate in this program?
This fun-filled program is available to any elementary-age child between kindergarten and fifth grade.

2. My child hasn't participated in the past, but would like to come this semester. Is it too late to sign up for this semester?
That's wonderful news! We welcome new kids all the time and we can't wait to meet your child, too! To register your child, contact the Frankford Elementary School office and let them know that you would like your child to come to the Frankford First Christian Church on Wednesday nights. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to the program coordinator, Julie Colbert at 573-470-4648.

3. Where do I send my completed registration form?
We will also have blank registration forms on the church's Facebook page. Completed registration forms can be sent to the program's coordinator, Julie Colbert at 573-470-4648.

4. Do I have to be a member or attendee at Frankford First Christian Church in order for my child to participate?
No, this program is open to any child regardless of their family's religious affiliation.

5. Is the program really free?
Yes, it is! The cost of this after-school program is entirely covered by members of the congregation here at Frankford First Christian Church, other churches and from people within the community. Thank you to those generous donors!

6. What does a typical Wednesday night look like?
First, volunteers with the church will greet the students getting off the bus at the church. Once at the church, students will have an after-school snack provided by volunteers. Then, they will have time for crafts, music, games and Bible adventures where they will learn a different kid-appropriate Bible story each week. At the end of the night, a light supper is provided to the students and their families in the fellowship hall.

7. My child is nervous about being the only one there. How many kids typically participate?
We totally get it. Going some place new and different can be intimidating! We'd tell your child that while this may be a new place for them, there will be plenty of recognizable faces of friends from school there. Our average attendance is between 30 and 40 kids each week.

8. Is it ok if my child has to miss a week or two during the semester?
Yes, while we love seeing the kids each week we know that sometimes life happens and they'll need to miss a week due to a doctor's appointment, sports practices, or some other activity. We look forward to seeing the kids join us whenever they can on Wednesday nights.

9. What about days that Bowling Green and Frankford schools are 
out of session — does the program meet then, too?
No, the After School Bible School program only meets on Wednesdays that school is in session. So if there are snow days or school is canceled on a particular Wednesday, then there won't be an After School Bible School program that week.

10. Are snacks and a light supper really provided each Wednesday night?
Yep! Each Wednesday, volunteers from the church and community serve a nutritious after school snack for the students. Then, at the end of the night, the volunteers serve a light supper that is available for the entire family to enjoy! All parents, brothers and sisters, are welcome to join their student in having dinner at the church on Wednesday night. All are welcome!
