Following last summer’s standing-room-only performances of Brahms’ String Sextet No. 2, the Chamber Players will complete the cycle with String Sextet No. 1 in Bb, a beloved masterpiece that combines warmth, richness and structural mastery in a way that still feels intimate and profoundly human. The lush sonorities produced by the addition of a second viola and ‘cello to the ensemble are the perfect platform for some of Brahms’ most beautiful, generous and expansive themes.

The North Country Chamber Players have adopted a “Pay-What-You-Wish ticket pricing for concerts. Seating is limited – free, online reservation encouraged! The recommended ticket price is $25, payable at the door but there is no minimum ticket price required for entry.
