Now’s your moment.Best of all, this event is held in support of Cub Scout Pack 83. Proceeds from the Older & Wiser Pinewood Derby help fund scouting activities, programs, and experiences for local youth ensuring the tradition of creativity, craftsmanship, and friendly competition continues for years to come.While this event benefits Cub Scout Pack 83, it is not a sanctioned Cub Scout or Scouting related event. The event is hosted at American Legion Post #703 and organized by volunteers from Pack 83, the Sons of the American Legion, and the American Legion Auxiliary.Because the event is not officially affiliated with Scouting, all participants are asked not to wear any official Scouting uniforms, apparel, or logos. Photography and video recording are welcome; however, no images or videos may include official Scouting gear or branding. Participants who arrive wearing Scouting apparel will be asked to remove it.With the advantage of being Older & Wiser—and armed with better tools, skills, and advanced creativity—we’re raising the stakes.
