Ballerina Storytime with the Milwaukee Ballet

The 45–60-minute program is interactive and typically includes a warmup, teaches the ballet positions of the feet/arms, introduces the technique (plie, releve) and leads the groups in a few steps (triplet, waltz). All of this is done within the story, so we read and then take breaks within the story to learn a little bit of ballet. We usually finish with freeze dance and free dance. This program is very popular with younger children (2-10), but older elementary age students usually enjoy themselves as well.
