WHAT TO BRING: feel free to bring a reading or poem about winter, winter solstice, snow, or other winter theme to share. Wear boots and bring extra winter gear to put on if you wish to go out to the Circle to watch the sunrise - it can get pretty cold!

IMPORTANT:  We will gather at 6:45am inside the Visitor Center  for a short program before walking to the Great Stone Circle. 

PLAN TO STAY AND SHOP! Our Gift Shop will be open - this is a great time to get last minute holiday gifts!

Weather and snow conditions permitting, we will proceed together from the short program area to the center of the Great Stone Circle. Given fair weather and clear skies, we will watch the sun as it crests the ridge and beams through the Chair Stones. From this day on, the days will get longer and we'll enjoy more light!
