Ballroom & Latin for Absolute Beginners is a relaxed four-week course created for people who are completely new to dancing.

Across four Tuesday evenings, professional dancer and teacher Blair Petterd will introduce you to simple Cha Cha and Waltz in a welcoming, social and low-pressure environment.

You do not need to feel coordinated.
You do not need any previous dance experience.
You do not need to bring a partner.

Come alone, bring a friend or join with your partner.

What to expect
Simple beginner Cha Cha and Waltz
Friendly, easy-to-follow teaching
Plenty of time to practise with music
A welcoming group environment
Optional partner rotation
A relaxed beginner dance social in the final week
No performance and no pressure

This course is not about getting everything perfect.

It is about helping you feel comfortable, enjoy moving to music and discover that dance is something you can actually do.
