This community-driven event invites the public to donate new and gently loved formal wear and accessories to help ensure every student has the opportunity to experience the magic of prom, regardless of financial circumstances.⁣

Led by Christy Dunaway Smith, creator of SoFortWorthIt, along with Gloria Vazquez Starling, Erma Lee, Lynn Hammer, Grayson Shackelford and a committee of generous volunteers, we are collecting everything a teen might need for their special night, including ?????, ??????? ??? ?????, ??????? ???????? ?????, ????????, ??????? ??? ???????? ??????.⁣

But the impact goes far beyond prom. Donations benefit ???? ?????? ???????? and ??’?? ??? ????? ??? ?????, which provides gowns for military and first responders, as well as prom dresses for teens in need. Grayson Shackelford leads our collection of tuxedos and suits for high school students attending prom and homecoming. ⁣

Launched in 2022 with just two weeks of planning, the first drive collected more than 350 gowns. Since then, more than 1,000 formal dresses have been donated, giving beautiful fashion a second chance to shine.⁣
⁣
And this isn’t your typical donation drop-off! In the spirit of prom, we turn the afternoon into a celebration and thank you to everyone who gives. Enjoy festive decor, a live DJ, professional photographer, food, libations and more.⁣
