- **Event Name**: Native Plant Gardens and HOAs
- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 12 Mar, 2026 at 06:30 pm
- **Event Description**: Homeowners Associations (HOAs) play a large role in shaping the landscapes and ecological health of Texas communities. This presentation introduces best practices for selecting, planting, and maintaining Texas native plants within HOA-managed areas. Whether you are an HOA board member, landscaper, or a concerned resident, this session will equip you with actionable steps to make your community more sustainable and beautiful through the use of Texas natives.

Kimberly Miller felt a need to do something that would help both the community and the environment. After walking away from a waste-heavy industry in apparel production, she has built a business rooted in purpose and community impact. Grow Wild Greenery focuses on Texas native, pollinators, edible plants, as well as resilient North Texas perennials and evergreens—because they’re good for wildlife, lowering water use, replenishing soil, and gaining carbon capture for our environment.
