In advance of this revaluation, the Scottish Assessors issued draft 2026 valuations on 30 November 2025.This event is being held to help local businesses understand what these changes mean, how valuations are determined, and what steps can be taken if you wish to query or appeal your valuation.During this informative session, Frank will deliver a 20-minute presentation covering:The role and responsibilities of the AssessorRevaluations and how property valuations are determinedThe basis on which valuations are madeAn overview of proposals and appeals, including key time limitsPlease note that this session will not cover reliefs or payment matters, as these fall under the remit of Highland Council.Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for general questions (excluding queries about individual properties). Frank will also be joined by members of his valuation team, who will be available for informal one-to-one discussions with attendees after the session.This is an excellent opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of the valuation process and to engage directly with the Assessor’s team.
