Also, NEIMBA has been proactive in assisting in the drafting of legislation that promotes housing and sound practices in real estate lending as well as issues that impact it. To continue to support this political presence to our membership, a portion of the proceeds from a Chapter event may go to the IMBA PAC which serves to support state and local elected officials and candidates who have business philosophies and positions on issues that are in alignment with the mortgage lending industry.Our Educational PresenceNEIMBA aims to meet the educational needs of its membership by providing up-to-date information on regulatory changes as well as new products and services, and, the development of instructional courses that expand the knowledge base and scope of mortgage bankers.
